Colors of India!

Since I have spent so much of time on my site writing about traveling, going new places, exploring, I thought this is the right time to write about a site which attracts all the Travelers who want to know more about India, its Culture, History & heritage. The idea was an incredible way to market our travel industry & as far I see, it was one successful campaign. I’m talking about Incredible India, a programme which the Ministry of Tourism undertook to promote India as a preferred Travel destination. It went to many places over the couple of years & its website’s making news for all the good reasons for winning the PC world awards 2008. The site gets an approximately of over 10 lac hits in a day world over, that’s infact a huge traffic movement I would say. Its theme for internet media called “Colors of India” is really superb. Some of the images used do really reflect the colors of India, a very colorful country with a lot of vibrant colors & places, that’s the reason I was really tempted to upload few images straight from the theme. If you haven’t been dipped into these colors it’s time to get out of your cubicle & hit the road. I remember a famous quote which often does appear on Discovery Channel from St Augustine- “The world is a book & those who do not travel read only one page”.
